The Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE)

The LuSE is Zambia’s official stock exchange — the regulated marketplace where listed companies’ shares are traded. It is overseen by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Zambia. When you buy or sell, your order is matched with other buyers and sellers on the exchange.

Chuuma’s role

Chuuma is a digital broker. Its job is to give you access to the LuSE and keep your investing simple:

Open an account and a CSD account — your personal securities account that records the shares you own.

Place orders

Buy and sell on the LuSE from the app or by USSD — no smartphone needed. Place orders any time; Chuuma queues them and submits when the market opens.

Stay informed

Get alerts about your orders, incoming cash, settlement and dividends — plus market announcements (SENS).
