# The LuSE and Chuuma's role

> How the Lusaka Securities Exchange works and where Chuuma fits as your broker.

## The Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE)

The **LuSE** is Zambia's official stock exchange — the regulated marketplace where listed companies' shares are traded. It is overseen by the **Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Zambia**.

When you buy or sell, your order is matched with other buyers and sellers on the exchange.

## Chuuma's role

**Chuuma** is a digital broker. Its job is to give you access to the LuSE and keep your investing simple:
